Meet Dr. Silvaroli – Silvaroli Dental
Dr. Patrick Silvaroli
Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Dr. Patrick Silvaroli relocated to northern Nevada with his family during his high school years. After graduating from Galena high school, he went on to complete his undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada, Reno where he was a millennium scholarship recipient. It was during his undergraduate years where Dr. Silvaroli learned that he had a passion for dentistry. While working as an assistant at a veterinary office, one of his duties included performing dental cleanings on dogs and cats under anesthesia. From there he took it upon himself to shadow some great dental professionals in the area. Dr. Silvaroli received his Bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. He then went on to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine where he received his D.M.D. During dental school, Dr. Silvaroli was very involved with the Las Vegas community, offering pro bono dental care through the Sgt. Ferrin Memorial veterans clinic, the Huntridge teen clinic, and Give Kids a Smile. After dental school, Dr. Silvaroli sought to continue his studies by successfully completing a hospital based General Practice Residency at Denver Health Regional Medical Center in Denver, Colorado.
It was here where he received advanced training in oral surgery, endodontics, pediatrics and restorative dentistry as well as the management of medically complex patients in both ambulatory and inpatient settings. He did his best to split his time between the hospital and snowboarding in the Rockies. Dr. Silvaroli has continued to take pride in continuing his education and was recently awarded the prestigious credential of Associate Fellow through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AFAAID). This is a rigorous, advanced dental implant training program which involves over 300 hours of didactic and hands on learning as well as completing both a written and oral examination. Less than 2% of dentists receive this honor nationwide. Dr. Silvaroli is currently a long standing member of the Sierra Society for Dental Excellence, the Frank Spears study club, Northern Nevada Dental Society, Nevada Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He currently sits on the executive committee with the local chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Silvaroli volunteers his time serving his community through his involvement with the Adopt a Vet program, which provides pro bono dental care to veterans; he is a member of The Reno Rodeo Association, The Reno Elks Lodge and is a mentor for pre-dental students at the University of Nevada, Reno. Dr. Silvaroli was also awarded the Reno Tahoe Twenty under 40 Award which honors exceptional young leaders in the community.
Dr. Silvaroli has been in private practice for over 7 years in Reno and when not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife Meesha, daughter Kinsley and their two bulldogs Halen and Presley. He is an avid snowboarder, a student of the guitar and piano, loves working out, cooking Italian food and watching his beloved Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres win… sometimes.
